This was on full display a few weeks ago, when an AI dominated a tournament playing against poker pros. The artificial intelligence’s gambling results were staggering, winning nearly $800,000 in just the first week.

Called Liberatus, this AI was created by computer science professor Tuomas Sandholm and his PhD student Noam Brown. To date, this has been the first AI to find consistent success playing against poker pros in a major tournament.

ESPN: Nevada sportsbook suffered worst losses in 5-year history

 
 
According to ESPN, William Hill, one of Nevada’s largest sports betting operators, suffered the worst losses in their 5-year history. The Saturday before the game the favorites were up 6-0, but on Sunday the Nevada gamblers decided to made gambling news and go with the underdogs.

Bill Sattler, director of specialty games at Caesars Entertainment, commented on the football gambling results by stating “Seemed like a blue-collar betting day with public parlaying, teasing and pounding money lines on Packers and Steelers. Quite a convincing performance, one which they haven’t really managed to achieve against Chelsea in the past few seasons. Arsenal are third in Premier League with 13 points thanks to this win.

Manchester City played against Swansea away. Pep Guardiola’s men keep winning so far: 6/6, 100%, 18 points, terrific way to start a season. Of course they lead the league. A bit of a surprise that Tottenham are second with 14 points. These two are the only unbeaten teams in the Premier League. Spur seized a 1-2 victory in Middlesbrogouh.

Another match that was highly expected by online gambling news was the derby between maybe the most prestigious English club Manchester United and last season’s champions Leicester City. However, the game ended up being a rather one-sided one: Mourinho’s Red Devils won the first half by 4-0. Philipp brought back hopes for the away side but Guerrero, who came in as a substitute, scored another for BVB in the 91st minute, ending the match at 3-1.

Hertha Berlin started the season in an incredible form and won 3 out of their first 3 league games, surprising all Bundesliga betting tips at the time. However, they met Bayern Munich in the 4th round who ended their terrific series of triumph.
