Holly Holm Rematch is on, Says Ronda Rousey

For the first time since the brutal knockout loss that took away her UFC title, Ronda Rousey has spoken out about her road to recovery and her desire for Holly Holm rematch.

In US gambling news, Rousey has granted her first post-defeat interview to ESPN The Magazine. Finally breaking her silence about the fight, she said that she felt “really f—king sad” following her November 15 loss in Melbourne. She also opened up about the injuries she’d sustained, saying that because of the split lip and loose teeth “It might be three to six months before I can eat an apple, let alone take an impact.”

The former UFC champion went into detail about what let to her demise, saying that when Holm punched her 30 seconds into the fight, it threw her off for the rest of the match. She wasn’t thinking clearly and felt shaky, and for the first time ever spit blood onto the floor instead of the bucket. Says Rousey: “I just feel so embarrassed. How I fought after that is such an embarrassing representation of myself. I wasn’t even f—king there.”

In spite of her upsetting performance and loss in Australia, Rousey said that the knockout will not be the end her career. She vows to have a Holly Holm rematch, saying: “I need to come back. I need to beat this chick. Who knows if I’m going to pop my teeth or break my jaw or rip my lip open again. I have to f—king do it. It doesn’t matter. I have to do it.”

Chelsea to Become Champions Next Year?

Dec 07, 2015

Yeah, it doesn’t look good (Glyn Kirk/AFP/Getty Images )

After Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea suffered their latest setback against Bournemouth on Saturday, a new perspective emerged on the internet about how Chelsea to become champions next year.

Instead of commenting the news, let’s just face the theory:

Of course it is about the Championship, and it seems that Chelsea actually do everything in order to get engaged in the relegation battle as much as it is possible. Chelsea to become champions in the English second-flyer looks funny know, but if they don’t change something in the coming months, it will become even stickier towards May. They are currently 201.00 (200/1) to relegate at the end of the season at Bet365 Sportsbook.

Though Mourinho was previously confirmed as the Blues manager until the end of the season, gambling news reported that if they would eliminate from the Champions League against Porto on Wednesday, Roman Abramovich would instantly sack his friend. Or let say, “Relieve him from his duties”.

Crazy Premier League Results Tricked Punters Again

Dec 07, 2015

disapointed fan

After game… (Photo: Football tickets UAE)

Last weekend was full of crazy Premier League results once again, which didn’t really help bettors who went with the flow and backed the favourites.

The show started with Manchester City going down 2–0 at the Britannia Stadium, Stoke-on-Trent, where the hosts converted their first to shots through Marko Arnautovic. The Austrian winger also hit the post twice in the first half, so the Sky Blues actually lucky to start the second half with only two goals down. They were unable to recover, however.

Later on Saturday afternoon, Leicester City pulled out a confident, 3–0 win away at Swansea, thanks to a hat-trick from Algerian winger Riyad Mahrez. This helped Claudio Ranieri’s Leicester to climb back to the top of the Premier League table, stunning many experts of gambling facts. They are 26.00 (25/1) to win the league according to Bet365 Sportsbook.

Arsenal defeated Sunderland and though it wasn’t a surprise, this meant that two teams have passed City in the weekend, who fell back as down as third on the table. Still, Manuel Pellegrini’s men continue to be favourites to win the Premier League according to gambling news. Bet365 Sportsbook has the best offer for their success with online betting odds of 2.50 (3/2).

Their chances were boosted by Manchester United playing a goalless draw at home against West Ham United. Louis van Gaal’s Red Devils had only one shot on target during the 90 minutes and this stat speaks for itself. Jose Mourinho’s struggling Chelsea, increasingly getting involved in the relegation battle, suffered a 1–0 defeat at home to Bournemouth. Though Mourinho was previously confirmed as Chelsea manager until the end of the season, if it continues like this for them, his position might be reviewed even sooner…

To complete the list of crazy Premier League results, Liverpool suffered a 2–0 away defeat at Newcastle United, second bottom before the weekend. Just after Jürgen Klopp’s Reds were getting considered by more and more punters for the title – they are available for 10.00 (9/1) at Bet365 Sportsbook –, they came out with a performance. that was awful to watch. They might have been unlucky with the refereeing, but a defeat is all whet they deserved for their unimaginative display.

The holiday fixtures will expectedly bring an ever bigger mess, full of crazy Premier League results, and bettors should always consider the underdogs, especially when it’s about Premier League revelations like Leicester City and West Ham United.

Philadelphia is the Saddest Pro Sports City in the USA

Nov 27, 2015
bad teams in Philadelphia

Beautiful (and sad) Philly…

Given that Philadelphia has some of the most caring and loyal fans out there, this news is going to hurt: Philadelphia is currently the most depressing pro sports city in the USA.

If you’re an American pro sports city, you’re likely to have one or two major sports league teams that aren’t up to snuff. So what do you do when you’re in the situation that Philadelphia is currently in, in which all of your teams are doing incredibly poorly?

Don’t believe us? Let us count the ways.

NFL: The Philadelphia Eagles were humiliated on Thanksgiving Thursday after losing to the Detroit Lions with an embarrassing 45-14 score. That game was their ticket to the NFC East, which made the loss especially hurt football fans and users of online sportsbooks in the US. Though it’s easy to see why they lost: they were horribly overmatched on both sides of the ball, and some of the Eagles played like they weren’t even trying.

NBA: The Philadelphia 76ers have said for what feels like over a decade now that fans have to be patient, that they’re in the middle of rebuilding their team into something great that the pro sports city will be proud of. Why not just be honest and admit it’s not happening? While there is some good young talent on the team, such as Nerlens Noel, Nik Stauskas, and Jahlil Okafor, General Manager Sam Hinkie has no talent for organizing and putting together a team that actually plays well together. And if the 76ers keep going downhill, Hinkie is going to lose all the young stars that are keeping the threadbare team together—and the fans who like to bet on sports in US watching.

NHL: The Philadelphia Flyers are good guys, and they mean well, but they’re still ranked second-to-last for the Metropolitan Division and for fewest wins in the entire 2015/16 NHL, and are at the bottom of all NHL hockey betting lines. Allison J. of Broad Street Hockey summed up fans’ feelings about the Flyers perfectly: “The Flyers kinda suck, yes. But they are like the sweet, adorable new puppy that pees in your shoes. You love them anyhow.”

MLB: Things are bleak in Citizens Bank Park. The Philadelphia Phillies have won the fewest games of all pro sports city teams this year. They failed to qualify for the 2015 World Series, and given that they’re currently the joke of major league baseball and in the process of a massive team rebuild, it’s looking like they won’t qualify for the 2016 World Series, either.

Given that it’s just one bleak prospect after another for this pro sports city, we hope that things get sunnier in Philadelphia and fast.

It’s the Thursday Football Fans have been Waiting for: Thanksgiving Day NFL Games 2015!

Nov 26, 2015
thanksgiving football 2015

Turkey or football? or both?

Thanksgiving Day NFL games are as much of an American tradition as turkey dinner and pumpkin pie, and this year’s game day is looking to be incredibly entertaining!

The Thanksgiving Day NFL games kick off with the Detroit Lions versus the Philadelphia Eagles. If the Eagles won this match they’d be proving themselves playoffs worthy, and given that the Lions are currently at the bottom of football rankings, this won’t be a difficult victory for them to pull off.

In opposition, the Carolina Panthers versus Dallas Cowboys match is one of the more balanced matchups of the Thanksgiving Day NFL games. The Panthers are one of the only unbeaten teams remaining in the NFC, but quarterback Tony Romo has provided a boost for the Cowboys that makes them a team to beat. Can the Dallas be the first to defeat the Panthers this NFL season?

Meanwhile, the Green Bay Packers are expected to take down the Chicago Bears. The Bears really need a win after having been taken down by the Denver Broncos, but the odds aren’t in their favor this Thursday. We’d bet on the hosts to win this one.

Klopp the Normal One Can Drive Liverpool Forward

Oct 09, 2015

Liverpool signed and unveiled their new manager Klopp the Normal One within a week after Brendan Rodgers was fired after the Merseyside derby.

Jurgen Klopp was the favourite to land the Liverpool job after the announcement about Rodgers’ departure was issued. According to online gambling news, Klopp was linked with the club ever since he left Borussia Dortmund this spring after a seven-year long spell. Now he was handed a job that he defined as one of the most exciting and at the same time the hardest in the world of football.

Klopp the Normal One – this might be his nickname after he jokingly referred to Jose Mourinho’s legendary arrival to English football in 2004. By the Normal One, he means that he is just another German guy who lives, eats and breathes football. But Klopp the Normal One was arguably the most sought-after coach in the football world until the Reds have secured his services.

Therefore this move is also big for the Premier League, not only for Liverpool. Actually he was linked with every one of the top clubs in the Premiership in recent years, and he also mentioned several times that his dream is to manage an English club. New he got his opportunity, and Klopp the Normal One aims to bring the Premier League title to Anfield in four years.

Source: Jurgen Klopp is a modernising force in the mould of Arsene Wenger

Some experts of football and gambling facts say that Klopp is the most exciting manager addition to the Premier League in twenty years. He will bring his approach, his pool of ideas about football, and his footballing philosophy, though many Liverpool fans are suspicious about the latter, after Brendan Rodgers’ failure to meet his own terms in the end.

But Klopp the Normal one is a football intellectual with an innovative approach, who plays good and attractive football with his teams. And he has a squad that, with a little bit of transfer tinkering, could be a perfect one to embrace his ideas. He could be a transforming force at Liverpool, and this could be huge in the history of the club. All he need is love and time to build a side that could enchant the people of Liverpool.

Liverpool are currently tenth in the Premier League table after eight rounds. The Reds were handed online betting odds of 3.30 (23/10) to finish in top four in the Premier League by Bet365 Sportsbook. The top online betting site priced their top-six finish at 1.53 (8/15), which, after having signed Klopp, looks like a good deal for a Premier League safe bet, if you are willing to place a bigger wager.

A Liverpool League title would be the biggest surprise in sports scores news this season, and it is no surprise that Klopp the Normal One aims to deliver the Premier League trophy in four years. Liverpool is 41.00 (40/1) to win the league according to Bet365.

Celtic and Rangers to Join English Premier League?

Oct 02, 2015
Celtic and Rangers to join English Premier League

Would they allow Celtic and Rangers to join English Premier League this time?

Celtic majority shareholder Dermot Desmond expressed that Celtic and Rangers to join English Premier League is a must and will happen in the next decade.

Though professional football clubs based south from the Border rejected Celtic and Rangers to join English Premier League six years ago, Desmond thinks that such a move is inevitable. The Celtic majority shareholder thinks that this is not just good for the Scottish giants, but for Scottish football and clubs playing in the English Premiership as well. He envisions a British Premiership for the future, online mobile news report.

According to Desmond, Celtic and Rangers belong to the top 10 British football clubs, and thus they should play in arguably the strongest league in the world. Actually Rangers should have to get back to the strongest division in Scotland first, as they failed to beat Motherwell in the final of the Scottish Championship playoffs last year…

Anyways, it is a topic that reappers from time to time. As all experts of gambling facts know, no other club than these two were able to win the Scottish top-flight in the last 30 years, and it is understandable that they see themselves playing in a different league. Though currently sitting second, four-points behind leaders Aberdeen, Celtic are 1.11 (11/100) favourites to win the Scottish Premier League at Betway Sportsbook.

The Guardian: Celtic and Rangers will join English top flight in next decade – Dermot Desmond

Dermot thinks that if there would be a change in the structure at the English Premiership, Celtic and Rangers to join English Premier League could actually happen.

He said, “In Italy and in Spain you have the bigger clubs like Barcelona and Real Madrid who negotiate their own football contracts, because they are more advantageous to them. I think that will happen in the UK with Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal and then I think they will institute a change in the structure of the league.”

Dermot Desmond Celtic and Rangers to join English Premier League

Desmond definitely thinks his side is too good for Scotland (Photo: SNS)

A move that would see Celtic and Rangers to join English Premier League was vetoed by English clubs last time in 2009. Their reasoning is also understandable: by including two new clubs at the top would cause two English sides losing their position. Some tinkering could be done with a 22-club Premiership for a year with four or five teams relegating to the Championship as the Premier League go back to 20 teams, but the UEFA would still have to approve all this.

Some say that this is absurd, but two years ago Premier League sports scores news featured two sides from Wales: Swansea City and Cardiff City. Though the Bluebirds – then playing in red – have relegated, Swansea continue to be an integral member of the English top flight. Maybe the time of a British Premier League will eventually come after all.

So… which team will it be?

The transfer window did not really result in shocking transfer surprises this summer. Most of the great star clubs remained inactive until now as they were still trying out what their squads were capable of.

However, there are still a few more days left before the transfer window closes and some unexpected signatures can be announced. Keep on reading if you would like to find out about the most probable signatures.

GOAL:Barca to offer Neymar new deal, Arsenal chase Kokorin – Transfer Windows LIVE

According to the reports of online betting news in the United Kingdom, Monaco has closed down the deal for Fabio Coentrao. The Portuguese left-back will join the French side on a loan move until June of 2016. Coentrao has been left out of Real Madrid’s squad ever since his arrival, mostly due to his injuries.

This move can be made possible thanks to AS Monaco selling their left back, making space for the Portuguese player from Real Madrid. Layvin Kurwaza has travelled to Paris in order to sign his new contract with Paris Saint-Germain, making this day the official day of left-back transfers.

PSG boss Laurent Blanc declared earlier that the deal is made and they are set to sign the French full back from the domestic rival Monaco. Blanc said it was hard to sign him from a club who will be one of their main challengers for the title, but luckily they managed. He also praised the skills of the new player, believing that he will bring a greater depth to the Parisien squad.

Another plot twist to the story is how room has been made at Paris Saint-Germain for their new player, Layvin Kurwaza. They just announced that Lucas Digne, the 22-year-old left-back has left the French capital in order to be able to join AS Roma, creating one empty place for a full back in PSG’s squad.

Meanwhile, according to several reports on gambling blogs, Manchester United was ready to make some shocking transfer surprises by trying to sign Barcelona’s star player, Neymar Jr. However the Brazilian is unlikely to leave the Catalan side. In fact, he is close to extending his contract, which will make the 23-year-old the second best paid Barca player – just behind Messi.

As the Neymar business failed from their part, Manchester United is likely to want to improve their defensive line. Hence, they aim to sign John Stones from Everton, and they would also be willing to give Phil Jones as part of the deal. However, the transfer becomes more complicated as Chelsea are also interested in signing the 21-year-old Englishman.

Meanwhile according to the reports of Football365, Manchester United would be willing to sell David De Gea to Real Madrid. The team is extremely interested in signing the young goalkeeper. However, the two sides still haven’t managed to agree on terms regarding the transfer fee.

Gareth Bale could be the main actor in realising the De Gea deal. The Red Devils are interested in signing the Welshman from the Royal Club. In order to purchase Bale, Manchester would definitely have to pay a record amount, however they might be able to decrease this fee by letting go of David De Gea.

Real Madrid has also given source to many rumours in regards of Asier Illarramendi. Southampton and Tottenham Hotspur were interested in capturing the outcast midfielder of Galacticos. That transfer will not happen though, as Illarra has already decided to return to his previous team. Real Sociedad paid around EUR 16 million for the for capture their former star.

Gambling news in the United Kingdom report that Chelsea would be more than happy to strengthen their squad with young talent John Stones. Everton’s 21-year-old central defender has told his manager he wants to leave the Liverpool-based club. The only remaining question is the value of the deal – Chelsea are expected to make an offer of around GBP 40 million.

Stones is quite a popular name among English clubs. The young talent is wanted not only by Chelsea, but Manchester United arhttp://gamblingresults.com/wp-admin/plugins.phpe also keen on signing him. The Red Devils would be willing to offer Phil Jones’ services as an exchange in addition to some money for the signature of the 21-year-old Englishman.

Prepare to place your bets

Gambling Results have tried to predict the second round’s La Liga derby by checking the results of the first round.

The second matchday of the Liga BBVA is due this weekend and great spectacles are ahead of us thanks to this. The highly anticipated La Liga Derby will be between FC Sevillaand Atlético de Madrid. This is where two strong teams will play a passionate and emotional game against each other in hopes of collecting all 3 points.

Meanwhile, the other matches are also there to entertain sports betting enthusiasts. For example another great question for the weekend whether or not Rafael Benítez’s men will be able to win in the second round after the disappointing performance in the first matchday.Gambling blogs believe they will be able to defeat Betis at Estadio Santiago Bernabéu.

Bleacherreport: La Liga Results 2015: Full Table and Scored After Final Week 1 Match

The new season of Liga BBVA kicked off on Friday, 21 August with an Andalusian derby between Malaga and Sevilla. The match ended in a goalless draw and it is pretty much all that you need to know about this uneventful game. The most memorable occurrence is the red card which was given to Sevilla’sN’Zonzi in the 69th minute, which says all about the clash.

Saturday’s games were not much more exciting in the Primera Division. 4 matches were held on this day, and two of them (Deportivo La Coruna vs Real Sociedad and RayoVallecanovs Valencia) ended in a goalless draw, while the remaining two matches (Espanyolvs Getafe and Atletico Madrid vs UD Las Palmas) brought only one-one goal, giving 3-3 points to Espanyol and Atletico.

The big stars of the tournament were going to play on Sunday and they were expected to shine in the first round of the Spanish championship. Athletic Bilbao hosted FC Barcelona in a thrilling La Liga derby just after defeating the Catalan side by 4-0 in the Spanish Supercup. However, Luis Enrique’s men were still favourites and they did manage to win the game thanks to Suarez scoring the only goal in the clash.

Real Madrid were also expected to win their first match in the season with their new manager, according to latest gambling news. However, they failed to collect all the 3 points in the home field of Sporting Gijón. The newly promoted team fought heroically until the very end and hence they managed to protect the goalless draw.

The remaining 3 matches of the Liga BBVA were the best ones in regards of the number of goals. The clash between Levante and Celta Vigo ended with a final result of 1-2 for the latter side. The home team played with only 10 men from the 5th minute, due to Simao’s red card, which madeLevante’swish to win basically impossible.

The newly promoted Betis managed to reach a 1-1 draw against Villarreal, while the last match on the first round was played between Granada and Eibar. The Andalusian side were on home field. This game brought the most goals in the first matchday of the Liga BBVA as Eibar defeated Granada by 1-3 on away field. Eibar are the only team who scored more than 2 goals so far, and they are leading the championship, however, that will probably not last too long.

Yibada:La Liga 2015-2016: Sevilla FC vsAtletico Madrid, Preview, Prediction & Predicted Lineup

The greatest and most expected La Liga derby in the second matchday will be without a doubt the encounter between FC Sevilla and Atlético de Madrid. Popular sites providing online gambling news, such as Yibada, surprised their readers with previews and predictions ahead of the upcoming La Liga derby.

The match will take place in Estadio Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán, so Sevilla will be the host team. The game will start on Sunday, 30 August at 20:30 (CET). None of the teams have lost in the first round – Sevilla has 1 points due to their 0-0 draw in Málaga, while Diego Simeone’s men are arriving with 3 points thanks to a fortunate 1-0 victory over Las Palmas at Estadio Vicente Calderón.

The only goal of Atlético de Madrid was scored by Antoine Griezmann. The Frenchman’s goal was a pretty lucky one, but it meant plus two points for his team. He shot on goal from a direct free kick, but the ball got cracked on the wall and the moving goalkeeper failed to change his direction.

It will be interesting to see the two teams playing the La Liga derby of the week. None of them have conceded a single goal in their first matches, although Sevilla did not even score any goals so far. Even though it seems as if they were defensive teams, a great spectacle and a passionate clash can be expected on Sunday.

Sevilla is promising a new era (Photo: Sevilla FC)

The home team is expected to start in a 4-2-3-1 formation according to Yibada, and Beto will be the goalkeeper. In front of him, the 4 defenders will be Tremoulinas, Blonbou, Ramo and Coke, while Iborra, Vitolo, Banega, Reyes and Kakuta could start on the midfield as N’Zonzi will have to be left out due to his red card. The striker will probably be KévinGameiro, however newly acquired Fernando Llorente might make a debut against Atlético.

Diego Simeone’s side is not expected to bring any surprises. They will most probably start in the usual 4-4-2 formation with Oblak in goal and with Gimenez, Juanfran, Luis and Miranda defending in front of him. Mendes, Gabi, Torres and Koke will form Atlético’s midfield and Griezmann will attack together with Jackson Martinez.

Weekly news in pictures

There was no shortage of big news stories hitting the headlines last week so lets take a look back at some of the more important of the last seven days

A meeting of the Federation of Socialist Youth Associations in the Turkish town of Suruc was attacked by a suicide bomber as they discussed how to assist in the reconstruction of the Syrian town of Kobane. The massive Japanese conglomerate Toshiba was rocked last week after an independent review of their accounts revealed the company, that produces everything from computers to nuclear power stations, had overstated their operating profits by in excess of 1.2 billion dollars. This was done with the full knowledge of senior management and, after criticism from Japanese finance minister Taro Aso, Hisao Tanaka, chief executive of the company, and seven other officials immediately resigned from Toshiba.

Last week saw Barack Obama visit Kenya, where his father hails from, spending time with the country’s president Mr. Kenyatta and paying his respects at the scene of the 1998 Nairobi embassy bombing that killed 224 people and injured more than 4,000. The two Presidents announced they stood united on terrorism but a joint press conference highlighted there were still key differences in attitude, especially on the topic of gay rights and the subject of women’s issues within Kenya itself.

In sport after a grueling 21 stages, a mammoth 3,360.3 kilometers and just shy of 82 hours of extremely hard riding Chris Froome won the Tour de France in Paris on Sunday last week, riding in with the rest of Team Sky to take another yellow jersey as well as the polkadots for being King of the Mountains. Europa League Qualifiers: Debrecen Bags Nine, West Ham Struggles

Hungarian side Debrecen completed a club record 9-2 victory over Skonto Riga in the second leg of the second round in the Europa League qualifiers.

Debrecen were considered as top dogs against Skonto after their first leg fixture in the second round of the Europa League qualifiers. However, looking at their first respective match, nobody thought that the reverse fixture will bring Debrecen’s record European success. However, the Hungarian side dominated the Latvian outfit that is not used to the hot weather, bagging a goal in every ten minutes on average, nine in total.

While Loki thrashed Riga 9-2 and advanced with a 11-4 aggregate score, the West Ham United players were fighting for their lives in the Maltese heat. After winning the first leg in the last minutes in London, they conceded early against Birkirkara. Moreover, they went down to ten before half time, and they faced a long night. Only the penalties saved them eventually, as the WHU players scored all of their spot kicks, sending themselves to the next round.

UEFA.com: West Ham survive, Debrecen record, Nordic glee

Debrecen played a 2-2 in the first leg in Riga against Skonto in the second round of the Europa League qualifiers. That result made the Hungarian outfit favourite to advance, but not too many of those who are involved in UEFA Europa League betting would expect what would have come in the reverse fixture.

Tibor Tisza opened the scoring in the seventh minute, and Debrecen finished the game off in the first half with a 5-0 havoc in the Hungarian heat. That wasn’t enough for the home side however, and Loki stopped at nine goals eventually, while the visitors also had two for consolation. The 9-2 result that marks out from this week’s sports scores is the largest European win in Debrecen club history, while also the biggest loss for Skonto.

After the 11-4 aggregate victory, Debrecen will meet Rosenborg, one of the three Norwegian sides advancing to the third round, while West Ham United will face Astra Giurgiu. To set up the trip to Romania, the Hammers needed to survive 120 minutes plus penalty shootouts in Malta. Birkirkara, the home team scored the only goal of the game in the 15th minute, and WHU went down to ten in the first half. However, they were able to secure an advance in the Russian roulette.

The Guardian: Ten-man West Ham beat Birkirkara on penalties to stay in Europa League

West Ham United, playing the majority of the match with ten men, relied on a penalty shootout against Birkirkara. The Maltese side achieved a 1-0 through Fabrizio Miccoli’s goal on a humid and hot evening. Matching the result from the first leg of the second round in the Europa League qualifiers, extra time and then a shootout was needed to determine who to advance.

All five selected WHU players scored from the spot. The decisive penalty was sent home by Diego Poyet, the son Gustavo, the former Uruguayan international. Gus played for Chelsea and Tottenham, as many of those, who follow live sports results might remember.

The Hammers were down to ten in the first half, when James Tomkins, who scored the winner in the first leg, was sent off. He was the second WHU player who received a red card this year’s competition, after Diafra Sakho was sent off in the previous round. This is interesting, since the Hammers were qualified to the Europa League through their Fair Play ranking. The numbers were evened out when Birkirkara’s Mauricio Mazzetti was also red carded in overtime.

BBC.com: Europa League: We were better than Astra – Inverness

Astra Giurgiu eliminated Scottish Cup winners Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the second round of the Europa League qualifiers. Through this, they set up a meeting with West Ham United, however Inverness midfielder Greg Tansey thinks that the weaker side advanced from their respective fixture.

He said, “We look at them and there’s better sides in the Scottish Premiership. We more than held our own and I firmly believe we were the far better side.” However, Caley Thistle weren’t able to score a single goal during the two legs, and experts of gambling facts know, that such an unprolific display rarely results advancing.

Tansey added, “We gave everything, but we’re just lacking maybe that bit of killer edge in the final third and it’s something we need to get as quickly as possible. For the possession we had, I thought we could have done better. I thought over the two legs we were by far the better side in terms of ball possession.”

Chris Froome has been dominated the 2015 edition of the Tour de France so far. However, it seems that not all the crowd acknowledges his performance.

After doping charges appeared in the media in reaction to his outstanding climbing performance, a fan threw a cup full of urine at him. This might have seemed to be funny for the probably (or hopefully) drunk fan, but this was a disgusting act that shouldn’t be happen at such a prestigious event. International cycling’s governing body and Tour organizers, Amaury Sport Organisation – not so quickly, but finally – acted, releasing a statement that asks fans to respect yellow jersey.

Tour the France fans were asked to respect yellow jersey by competition organizers and UCI, international cycling’s governing body, gambling news report. It comes after Chris Froome and his Sky teammates were involved in several humiliating episodes.

Froome complained that urine was thrown at him while he was doing stage 14, after doping charges emerged in the media against him. Another Team Sky member, Richie Porte reported that he was punched in stage 10. The doping accusations appeared as Sky doing an excellent job at the 2015 Tour, as followers of live sports results might know. 30-year-old British rider, Froome led the competition by more than three minutes after stage 18.
Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) and Amaury Sport Organisation (ASO), organizer of the Tour de France released a joint statement. It said, “UCI President Brian Cookson and Tour de France director Christian Prudhomme ask crowds along the roadside to respect every rider, and the integrity of the riders and in particular the yellow jersey.”

SkySports.com: Tour de France: UCI calls for fans to respect riders on Alpine stages

UCI, the International Cycling Union released a statement together with the organizers of Tour de France, asking fans to respect yellow jersey and all the other riders in the remaining part of the competition. Chris Froome, Team Sky’s 30-year-old rider led Nairo Quintana by 3 minutes and 10 seconds when the statement was issued, as many of those who follow sports scores might have known.
Froome was accused with doping by the media, and a fan thrown a cup of urine at him at stage 14. It was reported shortly after his teammate, Richie Porte claimed that he was punched by a fan on stage 10. Apart from asking fans to respect yellow jersey rider Froome, the UCI and Amaury Sports Organisation (ASO) joint statement also emphasizes that they regretted the incident the British rider was involved in.
It said, “The UCI and ASO publicly regretted the aggressions suffered by the leader of the overall classification from some spectators during the 14th stage between Rodez and Mende, while at the same time thanking the large majority of the public which respects the athletes.”

The Guardian: UCI pleads for fans to ‘respect yellow jersey’ after Chris Froome abuse

UCI, world’s cycling governing body had to release a statement, asking fans to respect yellow jersey and stop insulting drivers on the Tour. What triggered the statement is that a cup of urine was thrown at Chris Froome while racing. Online mobile news reported that his teammate, Sky’s Australian rider Richie Porte was allegedly spat on and punched by fans.
The statement that was a joint issue with the Amaury Sport Organisation (ASO), Tour’s organizers said, “The peloton of the 102nd edition of the Tour de France enters a decisive phase of the race as it enters the Alps, where the riders require optimal conditions in order to perform to their best before arriving in Paris on Sunday.”
It continued, “UCI president Brian Cookson and Tour de France director Christian Prudhomme ask crowds along the roadside to respect every rider, and the integrity of the riders and in particular the yellow jersey.”

Ashes 2015: England Ahead After First Two Days

Jul 10, 2015

For the most part of the first two days of the first Test in Ashes 2015, England had the momentum, and they finished day two in a very good position.

Their top performer was Moeen Ali, who excelled both with bat and ball, scoring 77 and taking out two of the best Australian spinners, Michael Clarke and Steve Smith. Australia veteran, Chris Rogers, who participates in his last Test before retiring, revealed that England were on top indeed. He said that as the wicket would expectedly change in the remaining part of the first test, Australia will have a hard task to work their way back.

The Guardian: Ashes 2015: Moeen puts England in the ascendancy

The couple of days of first Test in the Ashes 2015 somehow resembled to the remarkable game from 2009 that was also played in Cardiff. That time England finished the first day with 336 for seven, as keen followers of live sports results might remember, and reached 435 in the second. Now they continued from 343 for seven to stop at 430 at the end of the second day.

Six years ago Australia replied with 674 for six, but on this year’s second day, they seemed still searching for their rhythm, as England were dominating the match. Anderson contributed with a perfect spell and Moeen Ali was one of England’s stars producing a 77 with the bat and taking out Steve Smith and Michael Clarke with the ball.

Chris Rogers, the experienced opener plays his last Test for Australia before retiring, while the visitors’ best bowler was Mitchell Starc, who took out both Moeen and Jimmy Anderson.

The two sides saw that England dominated the first two days of the first Test of the Ashes 2015, which took them into an excellent position before the teams would return to continue the match. Moeen Ali said that by taking out Adam Voges, England were in pole position.

Australia veteran Chris Rogers expressed that he wasn’t totally happy with their performance, gambling news report. He said, “I think they are probably in a happier position at the moment. The wicket is going to deteriorate so it is going to be hard work for us at the back end of the match. We have to get a lot closer to their score and even get a lead.”

He added, “To get out the way a lot of us did does hurt especially as there was an opportunity to make it count today. I got a 90 and there were three thirties. We think we are better than that. But when you are positive and going at it you are going to get out these days.”

Rogers spoke about his teammate at the end of day two. He said, “I think we all desperately want to see him do well because we know how much he goes through and how much kind of abuse comes his way.” He added, “He’s pretty good with it – he knows that you’ve got to take the good with the bad. It’s up to him tomorrow to go out and score runs and hopefully do it for the rest of the series.”

Somehow surprising for followers of sports scores, Moeen Ali led underdogs England, batting for 77 and taking out Australia’s two best spinners, Michael Clarke and Steve Smith when bowling. Ali said, “I think we’re ahead. I think that last wicket put us into pole position a bit more”.

Gasquet Defeated Wawrinka through Serve and Volley at Wimbledon

Jul 09, 2015

It was all won beside the Wimbledon net: Gastquet’s serve and volley assault left Wawrinka nothing but to congratulate him (Photo: Reuters)

Richard Gasquet eliminated Stan Wawrinka to join Roger Federer, Andy Murray and Novak Djokovic in the 2015 Wimbledon semifinals.

The Men’s Singles event at the 2015 Wimbledon Championships saw small renaissance of the serving and volleying approach so far, and this helped Richard Gasquet to turn the game over in the fifth set against Stanislas Wawrinka, when it looked that the momentum was on the Swiss’ side. Seven-time Wimbledon champion Roger Federer wins serve-and-volley points more often than ever since the 2003 tournament at the All England Club. Both of them will meet baseline players in the semis, probably the two best tennis players in the world currently in that regard, and this means that there are some exciting matches ahead of us. Especially the Federer vs Murray semi, that will be something like an early final.

ESPN: Richard Gasquet joins top three seeds in Wimbledon semifinals

It was smooth sailing for world number 1, 2 and 3 – all former Wimbledon Champions – to reach the semifinals, however reigning Roland Garros champion and no. 4 Stanislas Wawrinka met Richard Gasquet, and the Frenchman stopped him in a five-set thriller, online gambling news report.

As keen followers of sports scores might know, it would be the first time in 20 years that the top ranked quartet played in the semifinals in Southwest London, however world number 21 Gasquet intervened beating Wawrinka 6-4, 4-6, 3-6, 6-4, 11-9. The Frenchman had the opportunity to seal the match earlier, when he served for the semifinal at 5-3 in the fifth set.
“The last game was incredible,” Gasquet said after the game. “I kept fighting a lot. And I did it. It’s a great match for me. It would be difficult for me to lose that one after [leading] 5-3.” He reached his first Wimbledon semifinal since 2007, and will play against world no. 1 Novak Djokovic.

The Guardian: Wimbledon 2015: Andy Murray banks on home support against Roger Federer

Andy Murray faced Roger Federer for the last time at Wimbledon in 2012. In that year they actually met twice at the All England Club, deciding both the Grand Slam and the Olympic finals between each other, as many gamblers who follow live sports results might remember.

Three years ago Federer won the Wimbledon Championships – his last Grand Slam title to date. Murray was able to beat him at the Summer Olympics. Looking at his current form and the possible support of the home fans, the Scot is considered as the favourite to advance this time by online sportsbooks in the EU.
World number two Federer eliminated Gilles Simon in little more than one and a half an hour in the quarterfinals, while no. 3 Murray needed a bit more than two hours to put Vasek Pospisil aside. The Scot hopes that the spectators will support him in the semi, though he knows that Federer is the topmost favourite of tennis fans all around the world, including London.

NYTimes.com: A Revived Approach: The Serve and Volley

Once upon a time serving and volleying was the ultimate rule for Wimbledon, as virtually every player approached the net to settle things as soon as possible. Tennis has changed however, but serving and volleying didn’t disappear for good. The real gamblers of the game use it again, and use it more often than ever since 2007.

According to gambling facts, serve-and-volley points per match are at 10.4 percent in this year’s Men’s Singles tournament at the Wimbledon Championships. For last year it was only 8 percent, but those players, who accepted that by approaching the net, they will clearly lose some points, however the odds will favor them on the long, are quite successful through the approach.
Roger Federer marched to the semifinals easily with his newly found game – he did not win so many serve-and-volley points since 2003, when he abandoned this approach – and Richard Gasquet was able to turn over the fifth set in his quarter-final against Stan Wawrinka via serving and volleying when things started to go to his opponent’s favor.

Iker Casillas Could Join FC Porto Soon

Jul 08, 2015
Iker Casillas Porto transfer

“Thank you all, I’ve had a great time here” (Photo: Marca)

Iker Casillas has been rumoured to be leaving Real Madrid ever since José Mourinho started benching him, but Spain’s and Real Madrid’s captain kept fighting for his place. However, this summer’s transfer window could really be the end of an era.

FC Porto are close to naming Iker Casillas as their new player, according to the reports of several Portuguese and Spanish gambling news. Casillas would be the biggest star of the Portuguese side, the only question is if he is willing to actually sign for them.

Goal: Casillas edging closer to Porto

Iker Casillas is on the edge of reaching an agreement with FC Porto. He played more than 700 games and broke tons of records with the Royal Club, but right now he is very close to leave his current side. He would be the brightest star and the highest paid player if he joined the Portuguese team.

Online gambling news from Spain report that Real Madrid’s aim for this summer is to strengthen their squad with Manchester United’s David De Gea. The young Spaniard would be Keylor Navas’ competitor for the starting goalkeeper’s position, and there would be no more place left for the current number 1.

Los Blancos will do everything in their power in order to find the most suitable club for their legendary goalkeeper. Casillas and his agent hope for a EUR 15 million exit payment, but it is unlikely that the club would pay him that amount, so still a lot of negotiations are ahead of the two actors.

Meanwhile, Carlo Cutropia, Iker’s representative, has given an interview to Record magazine on Monday, in which he said that the 3-time Champions League winner would be happy to join FC Porto. “Casillas is pretty excited about the opportunity to join Porto. We hope Real Madrid will allow him to move on and give him an easy exit,” he said.

AS: Iker Casillas’ arrival may cause unrest at FC Porto

Spanish daily magazines highlight the fact that Iker Casillas signing for FC Porto might cause a huge shock for Portuguese football. That is because FC Porto are usually known for purchasing players for cheap transfer fees and letting them go to larger teams for larger amounts of money.

That is not the case with Iker Casillas, because, he might join the team for free, but he would be the highest paid player in the squad, which could lead to discontent among other players. Online mobile news report that Casillas would earn EUR 3,5 million at Porto, while he makes EUR 7,5 million at Real Madrid.

Iker Casillas Porto leap of faith

In addition, it is also unknown whether Casillas wants to play in a league which is far weaker than the Liga BBVA. The Spanish first division is the fourth strongest league economically, while the Portuguese is only the 11th. Only the transfer fee of Cristiano Ronaldo would be enough to cover the budget of several clubs in the Primeira Liga.

However, it is also known for sure that Casillas’ wife would have no problem finding a new job in the Portugal city. Sara Carbonero has become extremely popular in the entire country thanks to the interview which she made with Casillas after the 2010 World Cup, when he kissed her on television, during a live broadcast.

Marca: Iker Casillas called by Lopetegui

According to the reports of the latest gambling news, Julen Lopetegui has contacted Iker Casillas in order to try to convince him to join his side. His main goal with the call was to find out whether Iker Casillas is even interested in joining the Portuguese side, or not.

The Basque manager, who is now the head boss of the Dragoes, has heard about the rumours that his team wanted to sign Real Madrid’s captain. He did not care about the rumours, he wanted to know the real intentions of the main character of the latest transfer news, so he called the goalkeeper.

Iker Casillas Porto seduction

Iker Casillas has worked together with Julen Lopetegui in the past and they have quite a good relationship, supposedly. Lopetegui was a member of the Spanish national team’s coaching stuff during Inaki Saez’ reign at the FIFA World Cup 2002 in Japan and South-Korea.

The legendary goalkeeper is still on his vacation for the next few days and will start the pre-season with his current team on 10 July. However, if the Basque manager’s calls were not useless and he did manage to convince Real Madrid’s captain, then he might start packing as soon as possible.

The week in pictures: June 30- July 07, 2015

Jul 08, 2015

Weekly news in pictures

With numerous massive news stories hitting the headlines last week we spend a few moments going over some of the most important

Beijing took steps last week to halt the sliding share prices in its two major trading markets. With the Shanghai Composite Index having lost 30% of its value in the last three weeks the government has banned IPOs and set up a stabilization fund, 19 billion dollars of which was pledged by senior brokers, fund managers and mutual funds who will invest in the local market. With more than 3 trillion dollars already wiped off value Beijing has to hope this will stop the rot, but it may well not.

61.3% of Greek voters rejected the package of austerity measures that were to be imposed by the nation’s Eurozone creditors in a referendum held on Sunday. In the first such vote since the mid-1970s the government of Alexis Tsipras’ Syriza party gained support for its position of not acquiescing to the continued fiscal hardship set upon it from Brussels. The vote marks a turning point in negotiations between the Euro Elite and Greece, with a compete breakdown of the process and a Greek exit still likely.

Website Reddit faced a massive backlash to its sacking of Victoria Taylor last week with 300 of its subreddits closed down by unpaid moderators protesting at the decision. With Mz. Taylor viewed by many as trustworthy, and the rest of the Reddit employee roster being seen as disinterested corporate scum, the site’s chief executive Ellen Pao has already apologized for letting down users and promised to find a solution to fix the problem, but it is a promise few of the regulars believe she can keep.

In sport the FIFA scandal continued to rumble on with two leading officials with Croatia’s leading football club, Dinamo Zagreb, arrested on suspicion of tax evasion, bribery, corruption and numerous other offenses. Some 1.8 million dollars is said to have been defrauded from the state by the detained. Will this be a pattern repeated across the world as FIFA’s slide into infamy continues? You’ll have to read our daily news pages to find out, but in the meantime here’s the big stories we covered last week.

Meanwhile Hollywood’s portrayal of aliens as being humanoid has gained some well respected backing from evolutionary biologist Simon Conway Morris who last week claimed it was likely any extraterrestrials would look very similar to humans as the principles convergence gave rise to the same evolutionary development as man has enjoyed here on Earth. With isolated evolutionary structures coming to resemble themselves so it is now thought that the same variety of life will have reached domination on other planets as it has here.

Roger Federer Is Back to His Best at Wimbledon

Jul 07, 2015

Roger Federer shows high class at Wimbledon (Photo: The Guardian)

Caroline Wozniacki thinks that those who arrange tennis schedules in Wimbledon, tend to prefer male players to female colleagues, as women have hardly any opportunity to show themselves on the Centre Court. After he crashed out on a smaller court, the major venue saw a Roger Federer, who looked ten years younger than his actual age, taking Roberto Bautista Agut apart at ease. The Swiss, who is on his way to his record eight Wimbledon title, might have terrified his rivals with that outstanding performance. The second week also saw another special moment, when the Williams sisters faced each other on the Centre Court.

The Guardian: Caroline Wozniacki accuses Wimbledon of a bias to men on show courts

Danish professional tennis player Carolin Wozniacki accused the Wimbledon organizers with some sort of sexism as he thinks that female players don’t get as much playing time at the major courts like their male colleagues. Wozniacki slapped the Wimbledon directors after she crashed out in the round of 16.

The 6-4, 6-4 loss against Garbiñe Muguruza was the fifth exit from the tournament at that stage in Wozniacki’s career, as she never reached the quarter-finals in Southwest London. She suggested angrily that women tennis players should get exactly the number of matches on the show courts like men do, gambling news report.

She said, “I would love to play on a big court. I think that’s what it’s all about; you work hard and practice to play on the big courts. The women really haven’t gotten the opportunity here to play on the big courts. You only get one women’s match on Court One and Centre Court.”

BBC.com: Wimbledon 2015: Roger Federer breezes into quarter-finals

Swiss icon Roger Federer was on fire against Spain’s Roberto Bautista Agut in the round of 16 at the Wimbledon Championships. Federer displayed top class tennis as he dispatched Bautista Agut 6-2, 6-2, 6-3 to reach the quarter-final where he will meet France’s Gilles Simon, online gambling news report.

The seven-time Wimbledon champion holds the record of the most Grand Slam wins in London together with Pete Sampras and Willie Renshaw. He said after the match, “I don’t think I made a statement. I did a nice job making the transition. It was a good match. I got off to a good start and kept rolling. Obviously maybe Roberto wasn’t at his very best.”

Butista Agut had no answer for the wide range of shots Federer used in their respective match. It seems that the Swiss is back to his best days, though keen followers of live sports results might have noticed that he also uses a serve-and-volley game under the coaching of Stefan Edberg. The Spaniard suffered an ankle injury in the third set, but he finished the match after a quick medical treatment.

NYTimes.com: Serena and Venus Williams Are Siblings Forever, but Rivals for Not Much Longer

American tennis superstar Serena Williams defeated her older sister in the fourth round of the Wimbledon Championships. She said after the game, “It definitely doesn’t get easier. But today I was out there, and I thought: ‘Wow. I’m 33, and she just turned 35. I don’t know how many more moments like this we’ll have.’ ”

Serena Williams expressed that she wanted to keep on playing for a few years, but maybe that was the last time she had the opportunity to play against her sister on the Wimbledon Centre Court, where each of them won five singles titles. She added, “I just wanted to take the moment in. I remember when we were 8 years old. We dreamed of these moments. It was kind of surreal there.”

Actually, Venus was who paved the way for her younger sister, as followers of sports scores might remember, since she was who first won a Grand Slam title for the Williams family, and she was the first who reached number one in the WTA rankings.

Chile Wins First Title as Argentina Becoming Football’s Losers

Jul 06, 2015

Chilean victory (Photo: ca2015.com)

Another final, another defeat for Argentina. This time an awkward and sour one, especially for Lionel Messi, who had a quiet game against the tight-marking Chile defense, and whose family, online gambling news report, was abused by the overwhelmed Chile fans in Estadio Nacional. As the sides were unable to find the back of the nets, the game went to penalties, and Alexis Sanxhez, who missed his spot-kick against Brazil a year ago that saw Chile crashing out from the World Cup in the round of 16, stepped up to score with a half-Panenka. Through that, the ex-Barcelona forward, who led Arsenal’s frontline last season, helped Chile to their first trophy 99 years after La Roja participated in the inaugural edition of the Copa America.

Chile waited 99 years for this, and in the end it came down to Alexis Sanchez, who had to score the decisive penalty in the shootout against Argentina in the 2015 Copa America final. Sanchez went for a Panenka, and though he failed to perform the trick-shot perfectly, he scored anyway as Argentina goalkeeper Sergio Romero threw his body towards the left post.

Gonzalo Higuain and Ever Banega failed to score from 12 yards previously, which meant that Chile won its first ever Copa America title, 99 years after they participated in the first edition of the tournament alongside Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay. Meanwhile Argentina lost another final and it is now 22 years for them without any trophy, as experts of gambling facts might know it.

This wonderful generation that produced players like Lionel Messi, Javier Mascherano or Sergio Aguero might end their careers without any trophies at international level eventually, while fellow Argentinian Jorge Sampaoli was able to command Chile to victory in a stadium that was used as a prison at the beginning of Augusto Pinochet’s reign.

WorldSoccerTalk.com: Alexis Sanchez’s impressive year crowned by Copa America victory

Alexis Sanchez scored the winning penalty against Argentina in arguably the most important year of his career. He was amazing in his first year for Arsenal after he left Barcelona, and he was able to capitalize on his good form at the Copa America too, where he was an integral member of the team that delivered the first ever title for host nation Chile.

At Barcelona his main task was to give the ball to Lionel Messi and to win it back before giving it to Messi. However, anyone who follows sports scores might have noticed that in the past few years he emerged as one of the best forwards in the world, transforming from a quick winger, who is very good at pressing to a reliable goal scorer.

Sanchez virtually swapped roles with Luis Suarez, as the Chile international had to move after the Uruguayan world class player was acquired from Liverpool. Sanchez went to the Premier League to lead a team and to become PFA Fans’ Player of the Year, and at the Copa he helped his team with industrious work. After missing a penalty against Brazil in the shootout at the World Cup a year ago, he scored with his spot-kick this time to defeat Argentina.

Just-football.com: 22 Years, 6 Finals, 6 Defeats: Argentina Lose Another Final As Agonising Wait Continues

Though Javier Mascherano and Lionel Messi won everything with Barcelona this season, they lost two finals with Argentina in a year. Last summer at the World Cup in Brazil, they were defeated by Germany in overtime, while this time at the 2015 Copa America, host nation Chile proved to be a better penalty taking team than La Albiceleste.

Argentina is one of the biggest footballing nations, however, the national team has won no trophy in 22 years. Their last success came in 1993 at the Copa America in Ecuador, when they beat Mexico in the final with a brace from Gabriel Batistuta. Since then Brazil won it four times, Uruguay conquered the continent twice, even Colombia and now Chile was able to deliver a title.

Argentina has a generation now that won everything at youth level, with two U-20 World Cup victories and two gold medals at the Olympics between 2004 and 2008, as followers of live sports results might remember, yet fail to win a single trophy when competing with the grown-ups.

Seahawks QB Russell Wilson Would Play Both Baseball and Football

Jul 04, 2015

Russell Wilson has emerged as a superstar in the NFL so quickly, that he is still being paid according to his rookie contract that grants him a USD 1.5 million for his final year. Seattle Seahawks want to agree on a long-term contract with him, but at the same time they obviously want to make a bargain as well. This would be tough though, as both Wilson and his agent Mark Rodgers argue that with his superb record, the 26-year-old quarterback deserves at least the amount that Aaron Rodgers, the top earner of the league gets, which is USD 110 million for five years.

NFL.com: Russell Wilson would consider both football, baseball

Seattle Seahawks Super Bowl winning quarterback Russell Wilson appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live this week, where he was speaking about his contract situation as well as possibly pursuing a baseball career, online gambling news report.

Russel Wilson Jimmy Kimmel Live show

Wilson is obviously underpaid with his USD 1.5 million for his final year of his rookie contract, however it is speculated that he wants to be the best paid player in the NFL with USD 25 million per annum. When a question about this came up, Wilson basically refused to answer. He said, “I just want to paid based off my play. It will all work out in the end. We’ll figure it out.”

When the talk show host questioned him about whether he tried himself out playing for the Mariners in the MLB, if his rights would be acquired by the Seattle baseball franchise from the Texas Rangers, he admitted, that he would consider the opportunity. Many of those who follow sports scores are waiting for the moment when that happens badly.

CBSSports.com: Agent: It’s about winning and Russell Wilson does that ‘very, very well’

Russell Wilson is known for long as someone who refuses to give too much information for the media. Okay, not the way like Marshawn Lynch does it, but he is considered as a boring interviewee by media workers hanging out around the NFL. Yet, he and his agent Mark Rodgers are very actively commenting his contract status.

Rodgers said recently, “With Russell, he’s unique, so let the debate begin. He’s unconventional in size. People argue that he’s a game manager or say it’s the defense or Marshawn Lynch — or all of the above. I listen and take all that into account. At the end of the day, it’s about winning and what he’s asked to do and he does it very, very well.”

Wilson’s win-loss record is impressive with 42-14, and as the quarterback’s job is to win the games, NFL stars playing in that position tend to use it as leverage when discussing contracts. The NFL is pretty much about passing after all, as everyone knows, who follow major league’s live sports results, and without a good passer, teams are virtually useless.

fantasypros.com: Fantasy Impact: Russell Wilson’s Contract Year

Russell Wilson is about to become a free agent at the end of next season, and this is very uncommon in the NFL with franchise quarterbacks. Therefore the Seattle Seahawks will do almost everything to sign him for long. However, Wilson and his agent, Mark Rodgers want virtually everything, as their goal is to make the 26-year-old signal caller the highest paid player in the league.

Russell Wilson and agent Mark Rodgers

That title is occupied by Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers at the moment, who signed a five-year deal worth of USD 110 million in 2013. This means that Wilson and Rodgers are looking for a USD 25 million per year deal, which is quite a big jump from the USD 1.5 million per annum that the rookie contract grants Wilson for its final year.
He is obviously underpaid, as there are 40 quarterbacks in the NFL, who make more than him, according to gambling facts, while less than a handful of those can match Wilson’s achievements, who led the Seattle Seahawks to a Super Bowl victory in 2013-2014 and to another final a year later.

Argentina or Chile to End a Bad Run in Copa Final

Jul 03, 2015
copa america 2015 final

Last game of the Copa America 2015

The two best and most attractive teams of the Copa America reached the final, so the title decider should be an entertaining game even for those, who don’t follow South American football or football at all. Jorge Sampaoli, Chile’s Argentinian national coach will meet his home country in the biggest game of his career, while Lionel Messi and co. are looking for the first trophy of the remarkable generation of theirs. Paris Saint-Germain and Argentina midfielder Javier Pastore mentioned that he is enjoying his time with the national side, where his task is to help Messi and Angel di Maria to bring out the best of them.

Whoscored.com: Match Focus: Chile & Argentina Battle to End Trophy Drought in Copa America Final

Finally the Copa America got a fitting final, as Chile, the best team in the group phase meets Argentina, that obviously had a lot of potential and eventually started to roll against Paraguay in the semifinal. These two sides scored the most goals in the tournament, and gambling facts also has that no other team was able to win a match by a margin of more than one goal.
According to the statistics, these two outfits featured the best passers and they enjoyed the best possession rate. These two also want this Copa badly, as Chile are looking for its first ever trophy, while Argentina want to terminate a 22-year long period without a trophy.
Though Chile had the easiest draw, they were also able to control all their matches, registering a 70% average possession rate, and they scored the most goals amongst participating teams with a tally of 13. With that in mind, it is possible that Argentina, with the brilliant front three of Lionel Messi, Sergio Aguero and Angel di Maria, will sit back and try to catch Chile on the break.
It is also important to mention that while Chile is pretty vulnerable in the air because all of their players are short, fitting to their tactics that requires quick and agile footballers, Argentina has a potential to pose aerial threat.

ESPNFC.com: Copa America final the biggest game of Jorge Sampaoli’s impressive career

The Copa America final will certainly end an unsuccessful run, as Argentina wait for their first silverware in 22 years, while Chile are fighting for their first trophy ever. Meanwhile, for Chile coach Jorge Sampaoli, this will be the game he waited during his entire career.
Sampaoli produces an extra show next to the sideline as his team is playing on the pitch, and this reflects to the drive that took him so far coming from Casilda, a small town in Argentina. He wanted to be a football player, but an injury prevented this, and he worked at clubs in Peru and Ecuador to become one of today’s most exciting coaches.
Some of those who follow sports scores might know that Sampaoli follows his fellow Argentine predecessor Marcelo Bielsa’s philosophy and game plan, which is all about press and attack, even against those sides that are obviously stronger than Chile. And now he has to take on the team of his home country, a far more talented side, to reach the greatest success of his life.

Goal.com: Pastore: I play to make things easier for Messi and Di Maria

Though Javier Pastore was one of Argentina’s stars against Paraguay in the Copa America semifinal where La Albirroja were thrashed 6-1, the Paris Saint-Germain midfielder revealed that for the national side his main task is to help Lionel Messi and Angel di Maria to give the best performance.

Pastore was also praised by national team coach Gerardo Martino after his performance against Paraguay, where, as keen followers of live sports results might remember, he scored a goal and registered an assist.

Pastore expressed that he enjoys the role of the midfield playmaker, online gambling news report. He said, “I am playing here to make things easier for Leo and for Di Maria.”
He added, “What I like most is setting up goals. When I give a pass that ends up being a goal I enjoy it more than anything else. Messi likes all sorts of passes, because whether you give it to him on his chest, his head or his feet, he always controls it well. He likes short passes a lot, so that he can play a one-two. He does that a lot for his club and I have seen it in training here. What he likes best is to have players nearby so he can receive the ball back.”
